I’m the kind of person who believes that you can hang a crumpled shirt in the bathroom while you have a shower and the creases will sort themselves out.
But when it comes to pricing, I wouldn’t wait for your consultants to take it upon themselves to come up with a more profitable way to price their services and negotiate with clients.
The bad news is that a profitable pricing strategy requires serious thought, hard work, and every ounce of those cat-herding skills you’ve developed in your time as a leader.
And don’t think you can just palm the hard work off on an expert. Recruitment owners who’ve worked with me describe our pricing workshops as “like therapy”, “stripping what we do back to the bare bones”, and “a seismic change”.
And while I think they meant it in a good way, at the time I really made them sweat to make sure we were getting to the source of how they created value for their clients.
The hard work doesn’t stop when we’ve deconstructed your whole process to painstakingly excavate every nugget of value. You need to bring your team on the journey with you, which is where those cat-herding skills come in.
So that’s the bad news. Those creases ain’t coming out by themselves, no matter how steamy your bathroom.
The good news? I’m here to help you with what could be the most significant change your business goes through this decade.
If you’re ready to make a pricing change in your business, simply drop me a line and we can arrange a consultation so you know what you can achieve and how to do it.

P.S. I might have an optimistic streak when it comes to avoiding the ironing, but when it comes to getting impact from a pricing project I don’t leave anything to chance.
Setting the right benchmarks, getting every part of the business engaged in the project, phasing the roll out of a new approach… every step of the process is designed to get the best outcome.
If you’re ready to make a pricing change in your business, simply drop me a line and we can arrange a consultation so you know what you can achieve and how to do it.
P.P.S. I’ll be at the Recruitment Agency Expo next week, running a pricing session at 2pm on Wednesday. If you’re there, come say hi - and let me know what you think of my iron-free shirt.
