The 2 things clients want from their recruitment partner
Insights from the marketplace helping hiring managers find agencies
On The Value Advantage Podcast this week I talked with Alexandra Chirica, founder of RecFindr, a marketplace where hiring managers can go and match with the right recruiter.
Prior to RecFindr, Alex ran a niche FinTech recruitment agency, and she shares some great insights about her shift from recruiter to having to put herself in the shoes of recruitment clients.
During our conversation Alex talks about the two key things that clients want to see when looking for a recruitment partner, and shares her ideas on how recruiters can get better at talking about what clients want to know.
She explains why in her view recruitment can’t be rated on a 5 star system, and why it’s so hard to build trust when selling to a client. We also talk about the dangers of ‘copy and paste’ strategy when recruiters set up their own agencies with the aim of doing things differently.
Alex gives us a great view of our industry and what our clients are looking for, so there’s a lot of things we can take away from the conversation.

P.S. If you’re at the Recruitment Agency Expo this Wednesday, let me know and we might get the chance to chat over a coffee (or at least share a free pack of sweets from one of the CRM stands).
P.P.S. A big thank you to Atlas for sponsoring The Value of Recruitment Podcast. It takes time and resources to create a podcast, and the team at Atlas saw the value in supporting this one.
