Recruiters provide one of the most important services in the world of business.
But hiring companies don’t always value those services. And sometimes recruiters don’t value their services as much as they should.
I’ve seen some improvements in recent years. More focus on the ‘consultant’ side of recruitment. Efforts to win more retained engagements. Even clients asking if they can pay more in tight markets. But change has been slow.
It’s time to pick up the pace.
With these ‘Added Value’ emails, I’ve aimed to offer ideas, guidance and inspiration on the value of recruitment for the last 18 months.
But I feel there’s more I can offer. I’m planning to help more recruiters add more value by launching something, well, more valuable in the coming weeks.
